Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your visit. Can't find your answer? We're a call away.
Walk-ins are welcome based on same-day availability. Because our team's schedules are primarily appointment-based, we can't always guarantee a provider will be available when you arrive. We recommend calling ahead or checking our online booking schedule before making the trip — booking in advance is the best way to secure the provider, service, and time that work best for you. Our online availability shows openings up to 2 hours out (for example, at 10:05 you'll only see a 12:00 slot if it's open). If you don't see availability, give us a call at (937) 478-2190.
Things happen! If you're running behind, please contact us as soon as possible. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time, your provider will determine whether there's still enough time to complete your service without compromising quality or affecting the next guest. If there isn't, the appointment is treated as a no-show and the applicable fee applies.
We ask that any changes be made at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer the reserved time to another guest. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours are charged 50% of the service price. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 100%. Appointment times are reserved specifically for you, and last-minute changes directly impact our providers' schedules — thank you for understanding.
Deposits are non-refundable and applied toward your service balance. With at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit may transfer to your new appointment. With less than 48 hours' notice, our cancellation policy applies and the original deposit will not transfer; you'll need to contact the salon after the 48-hour window to make changes.
Because of the time, products, and personalized service involved in each appointment, all services and deposits are non-refundable. If you have a concern about a service, please contact us promptly so we can review it and find the best way to make it right.
Yes. If you experience an issue within 5 days of your appointment, contact us and your provider will review it; qualifying issues get a complimentary fix. The 5-day guarantee does not cover matte gel finishes, broken natural nails, damage from accidents/picking/biting/improper care, or normal wear and tear. All requests are reviewed individually and subject to provider approval.
To keep the space relaxing for everyone, we kindly ask that you not bring additional guests or children unless they're scheduled for a service. This lets each guest enjoy their appointment and lets our providers give their full attention to the work. Thank you for helping us keep Heaven Sent Beauty Lounge peaceful for everyone.

We have limited regular-polish options and don't offer French or nail art on regular polish. For those, book under our Dazzle Dry or Gel options.
Yes. Dazzle Dry is a high-performance natural-nail polish system with the look and durability of a professional manicure — no gel, no UV/LED lamp. It dries in about 5–6 minutes, so no worrying about smudging. Great for longer-lasting traditional polish with quick dry time and easy removal (removes with regular remover). Think of it as the in-between: more durable and faster-drying than regular polish, without committing to gel.
Structured manicure strengthens and enhances your natural nails with an overlay that supports growth; no extensions, so length follows your natural nails. Gel-X is full-cover soft-gel extensions for instant length with a lightweight, natural feel. Acrylic offers maximum length, strength, and customization — sculpted for dramatic lengths and shapes.
Not sure where to start? Our Signature Custom Facial is a wonderful first visit — it's fully personalized to your skin. If you have a specific goal (anti-aging, acne, or smoothing), we'll recommend the targeted treatment that fits best. Feel free to call us and we'll help you choose.
Our Acne / Clarifying Facial targets congestion and breakouts, while the Anti-Aging Facial focuses on firming and resurfacing. For dark spots, we'll customize your treatment with brightening ingredients — let us know your concern at booking.
Most guests see the best results with a facial every 4–6 weeks, aligned with your skin's natural renewal cycle. We'll personalize a cadence based on your goals.
Some minor purging can happen as congestion comes to the surface, especially after extractions. It's temporary — proper aftercare and consistency keep it minimal.
We recommend giving your skin the rest of the day to breathe and absorb your treatment. If you must, wait at least a few hours and use clean, non-comedogenic products.
You'll often see a glow right away, with cumulative results building over consistent visits. Hydration and smoothness typically last 1–2 weeks between treatments.
Yes — gentle, professional extractions are included where appropriate. We always prioritize your skin's health and comfort.

About a grain of rice (~¼ inch). Too short and the wax can't grip; too long and we may trim for comfort.
It can be slightly uncomfortable, especially the first time, but most clients find it quick and manageable — and easier with consistency.
Results typically last 3–4 weeks depending on your growth cycle. Every 4 weeks is ideal for the smoothest, most consistent results.
We don't recommend it — shaving disrupts your growth cycle and can cause more irritation and ingrowns. Consistency gives the best results.
Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before, arrive with clean, dry skin (no lotions or oils), and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
For 24–48 hours avoid hot baths/saunas/workouts, tight clothing, sun/tanning, and heavy or fragranced products.
Some sensitivity or small bumps can happen, especially after a first visit. Proper aftercare and regular waxing significantly reduce ingrowns over time.
Yes — just wear a tampon or menstrual cup. You may be a bit more sensitive during this time.
A gentle, advanced technique that lifts and sets your natural lashes upward from the root, emphasizing lash health and a soft, natural result — longer, fuller-looking lashes without extensions.
Typically 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare.
Depends on the look — lifts enhance your natural lashes for a clean, low-maintenance result; extensions add length and fullness for a more dramatic effect.
Performed correctly and with proper aftercare, it's safe and designed to maintain your natural lashes' integrity.
Yes, after the initial 24-hour setting period — though many find they need less or none.
Avoid water, steam, and sweating for the first 24 hours so the lift can fully set.
Very low — avoid oil-based products around the eyes and gently brush lashes daily.
Every 6–8 weeks, letting your natural lashes complete their growth cycle.
Typically 5–7 days depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
No — professionally applied and customized to your skin tone, it develops into a natural, sun-kissed glow.
Exfoliate 24 hours prior; avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, and perfume the day of. Arrive with clean, dry skin.
Loose, dark clothing; avoid tight fabrics or bras right after to prevent rubbing or transfer.
Usually 8–12 hours depending on the solution; some rapid tans rinse sooner (1–4 hours) — we'll discuss at your appointment.
You may see temporary bronzer transfer that washes out of most fabrics; once rinsed, the tan won't transfer.
We customize your shade to your skin tone, desired result, and event timing for a natural, even finish.

Typically 4–6 weeks, depending on your hair-growth cycle and aftercare.
Done professionally and with proper aftercare, it's safe and designed to maintain healthy brow hairs.
